Meet the Corbins - 

Heidi and Bill met at Columbia International University, formerly Columbia Bible College, and were married the summer of 1997.  Initially planning to head overseas as missionaries, the events of 9/11 changed the course of their lives, and the Lord led them to college ministry.  They love college students, practicing hospitality, and have long and rich conversations over coffee about following Jesus.  Combined they have nearly 60 years of experience in working with colllege students.

Almost thirty years later they have five children, all of whom have either been through college (1) or are currently in (2) or entering into college (2).  Each is on a unique journey of discerning calling from Jesus for their lives.  One is a nurse and is married to an excellent young man.  Another is a grad student studying philosophy while another is pursuing the arts.  Two are just starting their college careers. 

Having spent time in large churches, small churches, & denominational churches, the Corbins love the local church and recognize the deep and lasting need for students to connect with local churches, not just campus ministries.  They love helping local churches and organizations to reach students. The Corbins seek to embody the values of intersect.college by first loving Jesus and being loved by Him, loving students and the local church, and by engaging, equipping, and empowering others to do the same.
